1. Scope

LOTF Research (“LOTF”, “we”, “us”) supplies analytical reference compounds, including peptides and small molecules, exclusively for in vitro laboratory research, analytical-standard applications, and educational research use. This site, all products sold through it, and all associated documentation (including Certificates of Analysis) are made available solely for those purposes.

2. Researcher Eligibility

To create an account or place an order you confirm that you are at least 21 years of age, that you are a qualified researcher acquiring materials for in vitro laboratory research in an academic, private, commercial R&D, or contract-research-organization context, and that you have the legal authority to purchase laboratory reagents in your jurisdiction.

3. Not for Human or Veterinary Use

No product sold by LOTF Research is approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration or any other regulatory authority for any human or veterinary use. Products are not drugs, dietary supplements, cosmetics, medical devices, or foods. Products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any disease or medical condition in any human or animal subject.

You agree that you will not introduce any product purchased from LOTF Research into the human or veterinary body, and that you will not distribute, resell, or supply any product to any party intending to do so.

4. Acceptable Use

Products are to be used only inside a properly controlled laboratory environment with appropriate personal protective equipment, ventilation, and handling protocols suitable for analytical reference materials of unknown biological activity. Operators must be trained in laboratory practice and must follow all applicable institutional safety policies.

5. Order Attestation

At account creation you must attest to the conditions of researcher eligibility, RUO-only use, and acceptance of this disclaimer. At checkout you will be asked to re-affirm that your order is for qualified research use only. These attestations form a binding part of the purchase agreement and may be relied upon by LOTF in fulfilling your order.

6. Storage, Handling, and Stability

Lyophilized compounds shipped by LOTF Research require appropriate cold-chain storage upon receipt. Buyer is responsible for verifying receipt condition and for storing materials in accordance with the storage instructions communicated for each compound. Stability data and Certificates of Analysis are available on request from /lab-results.

7. Certificates of Analysis

Certificates of Analysis (CoAs) are issued by an independent analytical laboratory and are available to verified researcher accounts via request through the Lab Results page. CoA disclosure may be denied or delayed if the requesting account has not completed researcher attestation.

8. Pricing, Taxes, and Order Acceptance

Prices and product availability are subject to change without notice. Acceptance of an order occurs only upon shipment confirmation. LOTF Research reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order, including for incomplete attestation, suspected misuse, or any other reason at its sole discretion.

9. Shipping and Risk of Loss

Shipping is currently limited to the United States. Risk of loss passes to the buyer upon transfer to the common carrier. Damaged-in-transit packages are replaced at no charge when reported within 48 hours of delivery with supporting evidence.

10. Returns

Due to the nature of analytical reference materials and the inability to verify chain of custody after shipment, all sales are final once the product has shipped. Damaged-in-transit replacements are handled under Section 9.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

Products are provided “as is” for research-use purposes. To the maximum extent permitted by law, LOTF Research disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. No information on this site, in any product page, or in any CoA is intended as medical advice.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LOTF Research, its members, officers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to use of any product purchased through this site, including misuse outside the intended in vitro research context. LOTF’s total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of a purchase shall not exceed the amount paid by the buyer for the product giving rise to the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless LOTF Research and its affiliates from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your use, handling, distribution, or onward supply of any product purchased through this site, including any use inconsistent with the Research Use Only nature of the product.

14. Governing Law and Venue

This disclaimer, and any dispute arising out of or related to your use of this site or your purchase of any product, shall be governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona.

15. Modifications

LOTF Research may update this disclaimer at any time. Material changes will be noted with a revised effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

16. Severability

If any provision of this disclaimer is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
